Guitar Hero: How To Become One In Real Life

by Fred Wild

It is rightly said that music moves the world. Without music, this planet would have been a forlorn place filled with cacophonous sounds-hoots, screeches etc. And human activity would have added only noise; save for music. Thankfully, we love to make music and listen to music. Some of us are dedicated to music so much that it won't be wrong to say that we live for music. And guitar is the king of all musical instruments. At some point of time, each one of us has dreamt of becoming a guitar hero.

So what held you back from becoming a guitar hero? Maybe you didn't have time in childhood or maybe your priorities in life were different at that time. Some of us might not have had access to a guitar class or a guitar coach. To ensure that your desire to become a guitar hero doesn't remain overshadowed by such reasons, recently video game guitar was introduced in the market.

Everyone's working time is increasing, and a majority of that time is often spent on the personal computer. It seems to be a good idea to use your computer to learn how to play an instrument, the guitar. Video game guitar programs allow you to increase your knowledge of chords and other fundamentals. The computer offers a way to log practice time.

Knowledge of musical notes is important when learning to play the guitar. It's a pleasant surprise to learn that musical notes bear a strong resemblance to mathematics. Any set of numbers can be processed using a digital computer. Thus, a video game guitar can sound identical to a traditional wooden guitar.

I ask you again. Why are you not a guitar hero? I don't want you to give me any lame excuses. You have a musician inside you and you want to be a guitar hero. Rhythm games teach guitar playing fundamentals. Sign up for them now. Nothing should hold you back. You will be playing in no time.

It should be added that in guitar learning, a practical melodic game is just the beginning stage. You can't be a guitar star just by sharpening your virtual guitar game. It can only improve your skills. Switch to a real wooden guitar if you are confident in guitar chords and strings.
