Weight Reduction Miracle - Self-Hypnosis Plus The Zone Diet

The Zone diet is a weight loss plan that monitors calorie intake and physical activity to deliver weight loss. It is a lifestyle-changing plan to get people to lose weight and be in better physical condition. The key part of this diet plan is the food plan developed by a doctor named Barry Sears.

The reasoning of the diet looks at the impact of carbohydrates on the body's insulin levels. Eating too many carbs causes the body's blood sugar levels to spike, which in turn causes the body to secrete insulin, a hormone that lowers blood sugar levels by storing the sugar as fat. It is thought that by consuming the right foods, blood sugar levels may be regulated to keep insulin levels in "the zone," a range where the body burns more fat and stops storing excessive fat.

The plan balances carbohydrate and protein consumption in a three to four ratio, meaning 40% of your calories will come from carbohydrates and 30% from protein (another 30% typically comes from fat). It is crucial to count calories on this diet, with most meals being no more than five hundred calories each and snacks around one hundred calories each.

Under the diet plan, you eat five times a day (three meals and two snacks), never going more than five hours without having a meal or snack. If you sleep eight hours per night, this means taking breakfast within an hour of getting up, lunch within five hours after breakfast, a snack within five hours after lunch, dinner within two or three hours of snack, and a final snack just before bed.

The majority of foods eaten on the Zone diet plan include lean cuts of meat, such as chicken or fish and other healthy sources of protein, plenty of vegetables and fruits, and a small amount of carbs. Sugar, cereals, breads, potatoes, and rice are the kinds of carb rich foods that dieters are to avoid eating, but can eat once in awhile. Dieters must also stop eating pre-packaged foods and food with a high sodium content.

Physical fitness is another fundamental aspect of the Zone diet. The program recommends moderate intensity physical exercise for thirty minutes a day, six days every week. Physical activity is supposed to increase the effectiveness of the Zone diet. Other things that are supposed to increase the effectiveness of the diet include taking nutritional supplements and vitamins.

The Zone program is perfect for many people trying to lose weight, but it takes a lot of dedication. The reason why this program and most other diet plans do not seem to work is because many dieters give up before they are able to see improvement. Many people struggle to stay on any type of diet because of cravings, out-of-control appetites or eating habits, or a lack the motivation to lose weight.
